Last year, Wisconsin's secondary was relatively inexperienced,
with the exception of all-Big Ten cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu. Even
with Ikegwuonu, the defensive backfield struggled and became prone
to giving up the big play. Now Ikegwuonu is gone, but the Badgers
are hoping last year's experience and a new addition in the
secondary will help improve the unit.

During Wisconsin's 38-17 win against Akron Saturday, an
interesting thing happened. It wasn't a new multi-million dollar
addition to Camp Randall Stadium, brand new black and white home
uniforms or even an original cheer by the student section.

One thing was certain at the end of the Wisconsin Badger

Madison has been star-struck recently with homegrown director
Michael Mann parading heartthrobs on Capitol Square for Public
Enemies"" and fellow UW alum Stuart Gordon preparing for the
nationwide release of his new film, ""Stuck."" It would be easy,
then, to overlook Madison's most reliable entertainer, almost like
he was hiding in a burrow somewhere. After all, how many giant

It's hard to know how to look at Flight of the Conchords. What
comes first, the hilarious HBO series or the music? Exactly how
seriously do Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement take themselves as
musicians? Anyone who followed the HBO series knows they're
obviously outstanding comedians, but how are they as songwriters?
Well, as displayed on their self-titled debut, better than one
would think.
