Despite facing criticism in his first two seasons, quarterback
John Stocco ended his Badger career as one of the most accomplished
signal-callers in Wisconsin football history. The three-year
starter stands second on the university's all-time career passing
list with 7,227 yards. He also holds the Badger single-season
records for touchdown passes with 21 and passing yardage with
2,920.
