You know when you have a professor or teaching assistant that
really motivates you to come to class? Something about his or her
teaching style just works for your content knowledge, their
interest in the subject... and their gorgeous eyes? For some
students, a TA is more than a source of knowledge; they are a
source of a hot daydream.

tonight, Cardinal Food decided to review a quintessential
sports-game food—buffalo wings. With a team of wing experts and

you, readers, so please, enjoy the reviews now and some buffalo
wings later tonight.3:30 p.m.—The adventure commences on a drizzly,
chilly day, and the group is ready to heat up with some hot, spicy

food to the table.

The first thing you notice upon picking up Founders' sultry brew
Black Rye is that this beer is not for those who put on some James
Taylor when they feel like letting loose. The words Black Rye\ are
scrawled in the metallic lettering pioneered by metal bands such as
AC/DC and Diamond Head, because this beer's taste is similarly
unstoppable.

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, the debut album
from Arctic Monkeys, was released in the United Kingdom a month
ago, and even before it broke the U.K. debut album sales record, it
had already become a clich?? to discuss Arctic Monkeys' breakout
success.

I am widely recognized the world over as a champion of the
people and a firm believer in economic fair play. My column is
reprinted in many workers' union newsletters, and most parks in
Cuba have at least one giant bronze statue of me in commemoration
of my good deeds. I am therefore a staunch supporter of this
country's antitrust laws. And yet, there is one industry I feel
would be better off as an unchallenged monopoly, and that is the
cola business.

This year, we've seen plenty of fantastic debuts (Craig Brewer
with 'Hustle and Flow,' Judd Apatow with 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin,'
Joe Wright with 'Pride and Prejudice,' the list goes on), but the
inconsistent output from many revered directors was especially
striking. There were some surprising comebacks, both huge and
minor, but also quite a few astounding letdowns from some of our
most highly esteemed auteurs. Here's my list of directors that need
to come back.

UW-Madison Chancellor John Wiley made a bold step toward
guaranteeing worker rights to collectively bargain in the 3,300
factories around the world that produce UW apparel by announcing
Tuesday the university's plan to begin a pilot program endorsed by
the United Students Against Sweatshops. The program will require
companies producing officially licensed apparel products to
purchase 25 percent of their goods from factories that allow a
union.

The distance between what was formerly considered underground
and mainstream has been steadily closing in the last few years. A
decade ago, only a handful of acts in the United States, such as
Nirvana, Beck and Weezer, had taken indie source material and
turned it into platinum sales. The kinder times of the new
millennium have made successes out of artists ranging from the
Flaming Lips to Bright Eyes, and even retroactively to the
Pixies.

I usually use this column every week to expound upon the very
serious importance of seemingly-trivial topics like grilled cheese,
hooking up at College Library and Aquaman. Recently, however, an
issue has arisen such that I must break with tradition and offer
you some hard-hitting news analysis. What makes this story so
exceptional? To paraphrase Gwen Stefani, this news is
bananas.

Biographies are hard to successfully transform into movies. They
require an impeccable recreation of every relevant fact and an
outstanding cast of actors capable of channeling the lives of their
characters, both of which can be difficult. Biographies are indeed
a challenge, yet Bennett Miller's 'Capote' triumphs.

rooms?

Evan Damiano is Bold and Beautiful, and he's also smart. He's

wear Scrubs while influencing Law and Order on the West Wing. He
has Passions about life and he's Young and Restless'so he plans to
move to O.C. to become a soap star. Evan might only try to make it
big for 24 hours, but we think he should stay longer. After all,
Evan, you only have One Life to Live.
