Man arrested again for taking photos of students in residence hall bathroom

Just a week after being arrested for sneaking into Sellery Residence Hall and taking pictures of residents in a women’s restroom, an 18-year-old Madison man was arrested again Thursday by UW-Madison police for a similar crime.

Larry Seidl was arrested around 7 p.m. Thursday evening after sneaking into Ogg Residence Hall, entering the women’s restroom and taking pictures of women residents. He reportedly stuck his phone under the restroom stall the victim was occupying, according to the incident report from UWPD. Two other women reported similar instances.

Seidl fled the residence hall after he was confronted by Ogg staff, but was arrested shortly after by UWPD on the 700 block of State Street.

Seidl was arrested on two counts of felony bail jumping, with other recommended charges forthcoming, according to the report.

Seidl is currently in Dane County Jail.
