Wisconsin's monkeypox vaccine rates are disproportionately lower in communities of color.
Over 16 percent of Wisconsinites have received at least one dose. The state is expecting about 47,000 to 48,000 doses of the new one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine next week.
The new “Final Five” proposal would make primaries nonpartisan and allow voters to rank their choices for candidates for the U.S. House and Senate.
Over 13 percent of white Wisconsinites have received at least one dose while only 4.2 percent of Black Wisconsinites have. At Dane County, the disparity is slightly lower, but white residents still are 2.38 times more likely to have received at least one dose.
