The No. 4 Wisconsin volleyball team (8-0) continued the impressive start to their season by staying undefeated and winning the HotelRed Invitational at the UW Field House.

Following an impressive showing in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Wisconsin volleyball (2-0) is looking to keep its early season momentum going in the Northern Colorado/Colorado State Classic tournament this weekend.
Indiana native sees success in first season at UW
Volleyball
The Badgers (11-7 Big Ten, 22-8 overall) traveled to the Great Lakes state for a pair of matches this weekend, coming out with two solid wins against ranked opponents.
Football
After a four-match stretch on the road, the Wisconsin volleyball team (4-2 Big Ten, 15-3 overall) returns to the UW Field House this weekend to take on No. 16 Michigan (2-4, 12-5) and No. 5 Michigan State (6-0, 17-1).
In their first match since returning to the national rankings, the No. 23 Badgers (3-0 Big Ten, 14-1 overall) continued their winning ways by defeating Iowa (0-3, 9-6) 17-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-20 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Women’s Hockey
Coming off an impressive run in nonconference play, the Wisconsin volleyball team (2-0 Big Ten, 13-1 overall) looked to get off to a winning start in conference play in the tough Big Ten.
Football

After spending 14 years with the Wisconsin volleyball team, head coach Pete Waite announced he has decided to step down Monday effective immediately, according to the UW athletic department.
The Wisconsin Volleyball team (5-15 Big Ten, 17-16 overall) fell hard in their final game of the season to Purdue last Friday in a 3-1 loss to the No. 22 ranked Boilermakers (12-8, 21-10).
Back from another weekend on the road, the Wisconsin volleyball team concluded its road trip with two losses against strong Big Ten opponents. On Friday night, the Badgers (4-12 Big Ten, 16-13 overall) were swept in three sets by Michigan (9-7, 21-9) and, just 24 hours later, were swept by Michigan State (9-7, 21-7) in East Lansing, Mich.
The Wisconsin women’s volleyball team (4-8 Big Ten, 16-9 overall) played against Illinois (4-8, 10-12) Friday in what was a tough-fought match that went four sets. The Badgers came out and lost the first set 22-25, but there were definite signs of improvement in their play from last week.
