This weekend, Camp Randall played host to a great college football upset. Yes, the Northwestern Wildcats, the then No. 19 team in the country traveled to Wisconsin and lost. But here’s the weird part: It didn’t feel like an upset. It didn’t feel like a big deal. It felt like just another home win for the Badgers.
Now that Wisconsin has exposed Northwestern and Michigan has fallen to Penn State, it’s definitely reasonable to say the Badgers are the second best team in the Big Ten, with Ohio State as No. 1.
Women’s Hockey
After Friday night’s remarkable defeat of No. 14 Ohio State, the Wisconsin volleyball team (4-2 Big Ten, 15-3 overall) lost to No. 4 Penn State (5-1, 14-2) Saturday night on the road.
