UW-Madison student Anthony Gallagher was charged in Dane County
Circuit Court Monday with obstructing an officer following a police
investigation since April 2003. Police found he and an individual
identified as Nate Grede had been placing fake parking tickets on
windshields and collecting payments for approximately six
weeks.

The No. 23 Wisconsin women's volleyball team will begin their
2004 campaign when they host the Badger Challenge Friday and
Saturday night at the UW Field House. UW will first play host to
Missouri before taking on No. 12 Georgia Tech Saturday night to
close out the tournament. After more than three full weeks of
practice and the annual Cardinal vs. White Intrasquad scrimmage,
the Badgers are more than ready to see what they can do once the
