When I went home for a summer break, I was met with the news of recent development: the four-way intersection down my street was being constructed into a roundabout, and I would not be able to take my usual way to town. I felt nothing but brief annoyance until later that night. I was in my bedroom, under the popcorn ceiling which had once made me feel itchy, and thought of it again.
Tim Michels defeated former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch in Wisconsin’s Republican gubernatorial primary election Tuesday, dealing a blow to the state’s conservative establishment.
On a cool July night, I joined several patrons at a local establishment in enjoying a cold beer and fried food while waiting for the doors to open at The Sylvee.

Writing this review was a struggle. On the one hand, I have a longstanding love-hate relationship with “Kenshi”; on the other hand, “Kenshi” is a game that cannot be properly summarized with mere words, but I will try my best.
In a controversial 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court has determined that they are emperors of the United States.
“Ain’t Too Proud” follows the story of The Temptations: their humble origins, their triumphs across genres and their interpersonal trials and tribulations. It’s a jukebox musical but not the kind we are used to.
After seeming to have over a dozen Republican senators on their side while drafting the first gun reform legislation in over 20 years, the Democrats have lost all Republican support.
At approximately 9:17 PM, Milwaukee’s BMO Harris Pavilion came to life with colored lights sweeping across the stage and “Down With The Sickness” by hard rock band Disturbed blaring. The audience responded promptly to this influx of sight and sound, shaking the expansive venue floor with its cheers. Smoke poured from the back of the stage and encroached the tall metal barricade behind which fans writhed in anticipation.
I am so very fortunate to have both learned about and been welcomed to Madison’s own Broom Street Theater for opening night of “Happy Landings,” a hilarious and original ode to Shakespearean comedy.
Within a room in Sterling Hall, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a group of college students prepared for their first astronomy club meeting. More than 30 people showed up for the meeting, which was an introduction and trivia night. Members of the club said they had a curiosity as to what is beyond our home planet, Earth. It’s that curiosity of what is beyond the cosmos that led so many astronomers to recognize the cosmic perspective.
To say that the college transition is a sharp adjustment is an understatement. Whether you move to a four-year university close to home or across the country, the years that follow high school introduce unfamiliar and arduous new challenges for students to navigate.
As many students celebrate the start of summer with relaxation, the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus is still filled with researchers working to make new discoveries and advances on today’s leading questions. Every summer, researchers conduct multiple major research projects on campus. This summer’s topics cover a wide range of fields including cancer treatment, Australian heritage, COVID-19 and structural brain changes.
If you’re an American like me who doesn't pay much attention to foreign media, “RRR” may have flown right past your radar. This film was massive beyond massive in its home country of India, but pop culture in the United States has been almost silent. There is no excuse now because I am here to make sure you watch this movie. Do not let yourself miss out on “RRR” because for whatever reason you think it isn’t your thing. Give me the courtesy to convince you this is a must-see.
The way that time passes quite honestly astonishes me.
“Kao the Kangaroo'' is a 3D platformer collectathon reboot of the original game which came out in the early 2000s when that genre was all the rage. However, next to “Gex,” “Banjo-Kazooie,” “Donkey Kong 64,” “Spyro” and other classics, “Kao the Kangaroo” was forgotten. And, ultimately, playing this reboot failed to make me care.
