A hit television show reaches a certain, crucial point in its lifetime that separates the Seinfelds"" from the ""O.C.s"" - the point which a television program popular with both ratings and critics proves if it has real staying power. Same went for ""Friends,"" resulting in the cast's million-dollar-per-episode last season. Finally, Warner Bros. has produced a movie far more atrocious than their pre-summer release of two years ago, Wolfgang Petersen's Poseidon."" Epic movies seem to be in vogue in Hollywood now, and a movie set in prehistory could have been the perfect venue for action, adventure and a whole lot of fun, but woolly mammoths and sabertooth tigers do not save ""10,000 B.C."" from being a formulaic, insipid movie that fails even as a passably entertaining popcorn flick.

It is not often that a team can out-rebound its opponent by 22, connect on 30 of its 33 free throws while its opponent hits only 12-of-22 and still lose at home. That, however, was exactly what the Wisconsin Badgers did Saturday against the Purdue Boilermakers.
Every time my boyfriend gets his hands on the TV remote, I already know what he is going to change the channel to: ESPN. Well, it's either that or the weather channel. Don't ask. I seriously don't know what he finds so interesting about storm patterns, not that there is anything wrong with that.
Coming off its first conferene loss last Saturday, Wisconsin must prepare for an important game as the Badgers welcome Indiana to the Kohl Center Thursday.
During the 2007-2008 season, many players have stepped up on different nights to lead the Badgers men's basketball team. On Jan. 2, 2008, in the Big Ten Conference opener at Michigan, that player was freshman forward Jon Leuer. Leuer came off the bench to score a game high 25 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor and went a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc. Leuer's 25 points were the highest in school history for a freshman in his Big Ten debut.
