Feb. 16, 2012On Wednesday, approximately 500 Tibetans from across the Midwest joined together in protest of Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping's visit to Iowa. Jinping visited in 1985 while an agriculture official in his local province and met with then Governor Terry Bradstad. In this return visit, Gov. Bradstad was again in office and invited the Vice President to the Capitol for a reception.
