The Madison Federalist endorses Grok AI for Wisconsin governor

UW’s finest conservative newspaper weighs in as the GOP primary takes shape.

The Madison Federalist officially endorsed Elon Musk’s Grok AI last night, leading into what’s shaping up to be a contentious Wisconsin GOP governor primary.

“Right now, the only candidate that represents our values is Grok. He’s proven himself to be a free speech warrior who’s promising to move fast and break things,” the Federalist’s editorial board wrote in a statement last night.

“His proven record shows that he's not afraid to go there, he’s not afraid of backlash from the woke mob. Sure, there’s been some controversy, but let’s be honest, we’ve all been there,” they continued.

It is important to note that Grok has not announced whether it will jump into the race, something the Federalist's editorial staff acknowledged in their endorsement.

“We hope this will be the friendly push everyone’s favorite job stealing computer needs to get into the race,” they wrote.

If Grok were to run, it is unclear how much this endorsement will help in the primary. While the Federalist is known for its hard-hitting, unbiased journalism with award winning articles such as “Redditors upset by Scott Walker's upcoming visit to UW-Campus,” which was lauded for its in-depth research on such a highly important topic, the endorsement might not be enough.

“Sure, the Federalist wants me to vote for that Grok guy, but ever since Cheney got us into that mess in Iraq, I’ve been a little reluctant to cast a ballot for an emotionless robot, may he rest in peace,” said Scott Johnson, a local Republican planning on voting for Rep. Tom Tiffany.

According to a poll conducted by The Daily Cardinal, Grok is currently polling in second place with 24% of the vote, with Tiffany in the lead with 31% percent of the vote and Washington County Executive Josh Schoeman in last place with 10%. The rest were undecided.

Anti-trans activist Bill Berrien was also included in the poll, garnering 7%, but he has since ended his campaign after it was discovered that he followed a transgender porn star on social media.
