Madison police conduct over a dozen bar raids after lying to students

“It was all too easy,” Chief John Patterson said.

Over 1,000 UW students were fined for underage drinking and fake ID possession last night after the Madison Police Department announced they would no longer conduct bar raids downtown.

“It was all too easy,” Madison Police Chief John Patterson said at a press conference earlier today. “Those dipshits fell for it hook, line and sinker.”

The operation involved over 200 police officers raiding 14 bars, and issuing roughly 1,028 fines in under three hours. It is estimated that those fines will bring in a total of $434,000, something MPD is planning on celebrating with a pizza party.

“We spent the past three years planning this. We had to shut down three different anti-drug task forces so we could allocate our resources towards this. Was it worth it? Hell yeah! Those punks deserve it. You bet your ass we’ll be doing this again.” Patterson said.

In other news, the MPD is announcing it will no longer be going after teens smoking weed in the Vilas Zoo back parking lot, and any teens that want to smoke there should “totally go for it.”
