An individual reported a sexual assault that occurred in a west campus student housing residence at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Sunday, according to an email sent to students Tuesday.
The incident occurred early afternoon Sunday, and the victim and offender knew each other. There is no active police investigation, and the incident was not formally reported to the UW-Madison Police Department.
