Members from UW-Madison's Badger Catholic will debate members of Atheists, Humanists and Agnostics at Union South Wednesday, where they will discuss topics including stem-cell research, abortion, contraception and same-sex marriage.
The debate, hosted by the Wisconsin Union Directorate Society and Politics Committee, will begin at 7 p.m. in Varsity Hall. It is free to the public and intended for UW-Madison students, faculty, staff and Union Members.
In anticipation of the debate, WUD is also hosting a discussion titled "Religious Influence on Moral Issues" on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Round Table Room at the Memorial Union.
