One lucky Badger fan and guest will win a trip to the Jan. 1 Outback Bowl courtesy of football head coach Bret Bielema, the UW Athletic Department announced Friday.
All Badger fans who purchase Outback Bowl tickets prior to Dec. 7 at 4:30 p.m. will be eligible to receive a complimentary travel package from Dec. 29 through Jan. 2. However, NCAA rules and regulations require the winner and their guest to be at least 21 years old.
According to UW Athletics, the package provided by Bielema includes Outback Bowl game tickets, round-trip charter flights from Madison or Milwaukee, a four-night stay at The Marriott Waterside with transportation between the hotel and Tampa airport and gameday transportation.
Other perks include tickets to a pre-game tailgate featuring appearances by Bucky Badger and the UW Spirit Squad and Wisconsin Outback Bowl souvenirs. According to UW Athletics, the entire package is valued at over $3,400.
The winner and guest will also have the opportunity to meet Bielema during the trip.
Outback Bowl tickets are available through the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office. The winner will be announced no later than Dec. 10.
