Farmers' market to move indoors

The Dane County Farmers' Market is moving off the Capitol Square and indoors after this Saturday's market.

The Winter Market, as it is known, begins Nov. 10 at the Monona Terrace. According to a statement, the market stays at the Terrace until the end of December, when it moves to the Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin St.

The year-round market will continue to have several vendors.Almost 70 vendors plan to fill the stalls at the Monona Terrace for the few weeks it is there.

As for the items those vendors will be selling, the release lists items such as cauliflower, maple syrup and pine cone decorations.

Many of the other items vendors plan to sell - beef, cheese and bread - were sold during the outdoor market through the summer and fall.

The Winter Market continues until late April.
