A man reportedly sliced a bouncer with a knife at Frida's Mexican Grill, 117 State St., early Sunday morning after bouncers attempted to quell an argument outside the bar, according to police.
Kevin Boyce, 26, of Fitchburg, allegedly pulled a knife and cut a Frida's bouncer in the abdomen. Police said the incident happened when the bouncer and others tried to put an end to argument Boyce and another man were engaged in.
Police said Boyce was told to leave Frida's and joined friends outside the bar before getting into the fight. The bouncer suffered non-life threatening injuries. Boyce received a charge for recklessly endangering safety for his connection to the incident.
