America's Most Wanted joins Madison Police in murder case

America's Most Wanted joined the Madison Police Department Thursday in its hunt for a man they say killed Kevin Cobbins in Madison late in July. 

 

According to police, James Bohanan is currently on the loose and wanted for first-degree homicide. Police said Bohanan killed 26-year-old Kevin Cobbins at close range and in cold blood"" on July 28 at a party. 

 

Police believe Bohanan is in the Chicago area right now but still has ties to people in Madison. They also believe he is affiliated with a gang. 

 

Bohanan has been in and out of jail for various charges ranging from attempted murder to drug charges. Madison Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.  

The U.S. Marshal's Service is offering a $2,500 reward for likewise information. 

 

People with information are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
