The Madison Police Department arrested 56-year-old Kevin F. Howard Monday night for allegedly asking two UW-Madison students for recreational sex"" on the 1200 block of Spring Street.
According to the police report, a 22-year-old U-Madison Wstudent heard a tap on his window around 10:30 p.m. and saw a man with silver hair standing nearby. When the student answered the door, Howard was waiting outside and asked if he was interested in having recreational sex.
The student reportedly slammed the door in Howard's face.
However, Howard was not done. Police said the roommate of the first victim - another 22-year-old UW student - followed Howard on his bike. Howard then proceeded to ask this student the same sexual question. Shortly afterward, police found Howard and arrested him on two counts of alleged disorderly conduct.
According to Wisconsin Court Records, Howard was previously arrested on May 4, 2007 for both disorderly conduct and alcohol on UW lands. His current home address, listed in public records, is 45 N. Orchard St.
Monday night's incident comes amid several cases of disorderly conduct in the last few weeks on campus and in the surrounding off-campus housing areas. A recent case occurred Sept. 11, when a man was kicked out of College Library for allegedly looking at inappropriate online material.
