University administrators survey students on the ‘future of Bucky’

What do you value about UW-Madison? Chancellor John Wiley and Provost Patrick Farrell want to know. ""We need your help!"" the two said in an e-mail to students Wednesday, inviting them to participate in an online survey running from now until May 4.

The survey, entitled ""Imagine the Future of Bucky!,"" asks students to give open-ended responses about UW-Madison's current campus climate, how it can integrate with the changing world and what it can do in the future to maintain its status as a great public university.

Wiley and Farrell ask students to reflect on personal experiences and share what local and global issues they believe affect UW. Their goal is to summarize student feedback about the campus community and incorporate it in the next UW-Madison 10-year plan.

Survey participants can submit a name and e-mail address to be in the running to win one of five $100 gift certificates to the University Bookstore.
