Assistant UW-Madison men's basketball coach Howard Moore said the program is ""very excited, happy and proud"" of Tucker.

Tucker's ""willingness to be a spokesman and leader for the team,"" earned him the spot, Moore said.

Other players named by the AP include Kevin Durant of Texas, Acie Law of Texas A&M, Arran Afflalo of UCLA and Greg Oden of Ohio State.
