New Beer Thursday

Initially I was unimpressed with Rogue Ale's Mocha Porter and their seemingly pro-Socialist message. After polishing off a six-pack, however, my perspective changed. Workers of the world unite!

An open letter to Mr. Sam-Omar Hall, editor-in-chief, The Daily Cardinal.

Mr. Hall, on behalf of yuppie college students—henceforth known as ""the workers""—I must pose the following indictments against your paper.

1. Bourgeoisie copy, too clean and readable.

2. The information posed as fact on your comics page is often fabricated; diesel trucks do not cause flatulence. Also, Yourmometer is unacceptably funny and remains a constant threat to the revolution.

3. Despite not officially existing until 1892, your paper was responsible for provoking a civil war in the United States, causing 600,000 workers their lives.

4. Employing me, you capitalist whores

Andrew Peck, future leader of the revolution.

Also, the beer was ok.
