Gubernatorial candidate Gary George was removed from the Democratic primary ballot after more than 200 inaccurate signatures were discovered in his nomination papers, putting him below the required 2,000 needed to appear on the ballot.
UW-Madison senior Daniel McMurray made the initial challenge, though Senate Majority Leader Chuck Chvala, D-Madison, later admitted to funding it.
