Starbucks puts more effort into coffee drinks
You can protest in front of Starbucks and complain about it as much as you want (""State St. sees Starbucks protest,"" February 27), but they have the best Chai Lattes and Caramel Macchiatos in Madison. Other coffee shops will never be able to get the same flavor and frothiness that a Starbucks Chai has. Yes, it is a chain store, but there are other shops like that on State Street as well, like Steep & Brew or Einstein's. There is no reason to boycott chain stores; they are familiar favorites. I have tried many of the coffee shops on State Street. Starbucks is the only place that treats a coffee drink like a delicacy; it is well worth the price to get the quality and superior flavor. Until another coffee shop starts to put some effort into their drinks, there will always be a strong group of Starbucks fans.
