Wiley announces new School of Business dean

Michael Knetter is slated to be the next UW-Madison School of Business dean, UW-Madison Chancellor John Wiley announced Monday. 

 

 

 

Knetter, who currently serves as an international economics professor and associate dean of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., is a Wisconsin native and a graduate of UW-Eau Claire. 

 

 

 

Knetter previously served as a senior staff economist for the President's Council of Economic Advisers under former Presidents Bush and Clinton.

Knetter replaces Andrew J. Policano, who stepped down Sept. 1. R.D. Nair will continue to serve as interim dean until Knetter formally begins July 1.
