In keeping with its fellow Big Ten schools, UW-Madison offers a
variety of religious options. However, unlike some smaller in-state
schools, like UW-Milwaukee, UW-Madison's diversity equips students
to have a more open dialogue regarding religious issues.

Though he has graduated from this fine university with a degree
in linguistics, Tim still contemplates further studies. He may use
his knowledge of language to travel the world and learn many new
tongues. Then again, he may simply turn around and go to grad
school. But Tim is a believer in the mystic arts. He wants to study
sorcery, make a name for himself and become Tim ... the
Enchanter.

With 2:46 left in the first half of the Badger victory over
Michigan, senior forward Zach Morley went up for the offensive
board before landing hard on his back, his face grimaced in pain.
As the Kohl Center held its collective breath waiting to see if
Morley would have to be helped off he court, he carefully stood up
and jogged off the court to the relief of the 17,142 people in
attendance.

The No. 3 Wisconsin men's hockey team played host to a tough

Many in the media are understandably furious with right-wing
pundit Armstrong Williams, who last week accepted $241,000 from the
U.S. Department of Education to tout the No Child Left Behind Act
on his syndicated television show in 2003. Williams himself
admitted he damaged the independence and credibility of the media
by selling his airtime to the government and then not disclosing
the deal while he discussed NCLB on the air.

Following a second straight W Cup title, expectations are high
for the No. 5 Wisconsin men's rowing team Saturday at the 32nd

There are already 10,000 pre-registered participants for this
Saturday's Crazylegs Classic and roughly 1,000 to 2,500 others are
expected to eventually partake in the event, which would break the
unofficial record of 12,000 entrants. While there is no guarantee
that this year's classic will have the highest attendance, or even
most lucrative from a fund-raising standpoint, one thing is
certain: The 23rd annual Crazylegs Classic will be one of the most
memorable runs in event history.

It's the third week of the semester. That means it's time to
find our routines and fall back into our groove. Your body should
no longer cave in to the cold. You should no longer avoid the
library. You should no longer switch classes and you should no
longer drink Heineken before sundown. It's time to get down to
brass tacks.

say that Wisconsin is going to go on the road and show the Big Ten
that the Cardinal and White are for real.

Despite our best efforts, we all learned something during spring
break. How do you ask \Do I get my one phone call from jail"" in
Spanish? What are the age-of-consent laws in Florida (""Officer, I
swear I didn't know she was 15!"")? Even those who stayed in
Madison learned something last week.
