Club regarding the clean up of emissions from UW-Madison's Charter
Street Heating Plant.

U.S. District Court Judge John Shabaz ruled Nov. 7 that
UW-Madison and the state of Wisconsin violated the federal Clean
Air Act by failing to install modern pollution controls at the
coal-burning Charter Street power plant during major renovation
projects. We applaud this decision and urge the university to take
swift action to clean up the Charter Street plant.

Owning a gun is a right, whether for sport, collection,
recreation or protection. It was important enough, in the founding
of this country, to guarantee the right to bear arms, which people
can find in the Second Amendment to the Constitution. Conceal and
carry provisions allow people to carry firearms in a concealed
manner in a public place. Opponents try to make it more
controversial than it has to be, but this is a worthwhile
right.

The Badgers' talented duo of starting cornerbacks came into the
2007 season sky high. The two junior cornerbacks, Jack Ikegwuonu
and Allen Langford, had excellent 2006 campaigns. They look to be
the anchors in the Badgers' secondary that lost both free safety
Roderick Rogers and strong safety Joe Stellmacher to graduation in
2006.
