Jack White appears to be on his way to becoming something of a
nomadic rock star along the lines of Eric Clapton by lining up jam
sessions and collaborative albums with peers of similar taste. This
technique thrives on the natural playing and ability of each member
to feel comfortable in an atmosphere of organic, free-flowing
writing. This is an inconsistent style, but when lightning strikes,
special albums can be created, like Layla and Other Assorted
Love Songs or even The Basement Tapes. Dipping his
own toes in this water, White successfully teamed up with Brendan
Benson to create the Raconteurs for his first venture, before
moving on to his second project: the Dead Weather.

With the year nearing its unavoidable conclusion and seniors
nearly ready (or for some far beyond ready) to end their stay in
Madison, it only seems appropriate to reflect on the athletic feats
and disappointments which the class of '09 has borne witness to.

Sports writers, radio hosts and pundits are always comparing
today's players to the great ones of the past. There's always the
question of, who will be the next Michael Jordan? Who will be the
next Hank Aaron? Is this team as good as the 1986 Celtics? I don't
know how the sports world would live if they could never write
comparison pieces or talk about them.

Even though the Flight of the Conchords may be the bigger name on
their nationwide tour, opening act and seasoned comedian Eugene
Mirman has been keeping audiences entertained for years. From his
various Youtube videos to his established role on HBO's ""Flight of
the Conchords"" and his work on Adult Swim's ""Delocated,"" Mirman
has seen it all. I was especially excited to talk to Mirman, as he
is arguably the funniest alum of my high school, though Rachel
Dratch gives him a run for his money.

I can't believe I'm even asking this, but a few nights ago, my
boyfriend wanted to have sex and he started going down on me to try
to get me in the mood. The reason I didn't want to was because I
was really gassy and I tried really hard to hold it in, but I
accidentally farted. Now I'm afraid to let him go down on me again.
How do I get over this?

Released nearly a year after their critically acclaimed Narrow
Stairs and made up of songs recorded during the same sessions,
Death Cab for Cutie's newest EP, The Open Door, certainly
differentiates itself from their last release. It's easy to see why
the band didn't include these five far more upbeat songs on the
depressing Narrow Stairs. For one thing, these songs wouldn't have
fit the darker mood of the album. For another, it satisfies the
unending, if somewhat masochistic, craving Death Cab for Cutie fans
have for the melancholy and melodic styling of Ben Gibbard.

Whenever I go home, I see that my family barely knows how to
operate our DVD player, can't yet figure out how to install
wireless and thinks tamagachis are still tech-savvy. I try to teach
my family all I can about iPods, laptops and youthfulness in
general. But sometimes, it's not enough to walk them through an
instructional booklet or show them how to log on to a website.
Sometimes you need to teach them a lesson by being completely and
utterly inappropriate.

On March 20, 2009, the Wall Street Journal printed an article

imitate smoking, students crush the candy into a fine powder, pour
it into their mouths and blow out the dust. The following are

Many Spring-Breakers flock to the coasts each March in hopes of

hitting on scantily clad college students. But some people demand a
more memorable Spring Break. Vagabond foodies seeking good food and
