There will be a missing piece to the opening game when
University of Wisconsin women's hockey team hosts Quinnipiac

In a season of transition, senior forward and assistant captain
Jinelle Zaugg was a key part of the Wisconsin women's hockey team's

While the University of Wisconsin women's hockey team fell one

DULUTH, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin women's hockey
team's bid for a third-straight national championship took the form

green.

Only three games separate the Wisconsin women's hockey team from
a national championship three-peat as it heads into the NCAA

slew of tough opponents to accomplish that feat, starting with
Minnesota in Minneapolis.
(03/07/08 6:00am)
For the first time in three seasons, the Wisconsin women's

(02/28/08 6:00am)
Although Wisconsin enters the postseason in third place in the
WCHA standings, its chance at a third straight regular season
conference title may hinge on the eligibility of a Minnesota Duluth
player.
(02/25/08 6:00am)
MINNEAPOLIS - Although the Wisconsin men's hockey team treated
this past weekend's games at Minnesota as must-wins, the Badgers
seemed relieved to escape from Mariucci Arena Saturday night with
one point on the weekend after facing a tough Gopher squad.
(02/25/08 6:00am)
MINNEAPOLIS - Wisconsin freshman defenseman Anne Dronen picked
the right time to score her first collegiate goal. Returning home,
the Minneapolis-area native ignited a strong weekend for the
Badgers, scoring the game-winning goal on Saturday as Wisconsin
recorded a 5-1 victory against Minnesota and a 2-2 tie on Sunday.
The three points propelled Wisconsin to a third-place finish in the
WCHA standings.

completely different settings Friday and Saturday, the results were
the same, as the Badgers swept the Bemidji State Beavers 4-0 and

Many people think the bowl system in college football is
inaccurate in deciding the national champion. They're right.
However, the one-and-done NCAA Tournament in college hockey does
not make much sense either.

While the hockey replay review system exists to ensure that each
goal in the NCAA and the NHL is legal, there still exist some
