Courses disappear from UW-Madison Canvas dashboard

There are no known workarounds at this time and the DoIT investigation is ongoing.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Information Technology investigated missing Canvas courses after students reported disappearing courses around 2 p.m. Sunday. By 10 p.m. all courses should be visible.

Students began circulating information about the outage on social media apps Yik Yak and Reddit around 4 p.m. Many left humorous remarks about their courses being gone before finals week.

Students who still experience missing Canvas courses 10:00 pm can contact the DoIT Help Desk.

DoIt spokesperson Mary Evansen told the Daily Cardinal "DoIT technologists are still investigating the cause of the issue."

This is a developing story.
