Two victims were pronounced dead after being found early Tuesday morning in the UW Arboretum. 

Two victims pronounced dead in UW Arboretum homicide

The UW-Madison Police Department is currently investigating a homicide discovered Tuesday morning at the UW Arboretum. 

At approximately 6:30 a.m., a jogger came across two individuals lying in a ditch. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was rushed to the hospital and died a short time after.

No information has been released about the identity of the victims. 

UWPD asked the community to avoid the Arboretum entirely, specifically the Wingra Street entrance, until further notice.
