Netflix just released a teaser and an official trailer for the new season of the Spanish teen drama “Elite” that is set to come out on March 13.
The main cast will return for the third season, as well as a few other new faces who will bring more excitement to the series.
The series left us with many questions when Season Two ended with the unpredictable scene of Polo returning to school after he was convicted of killing Marina. It was clear that the series did not end there and it left many questions unanswered.
Similar to previous seasons, the trailer indicates that there is a new crime investigation and suspicions rise around different cast members. There are emerging relationships, as well as unexpected friendships.The ongoing intersection between upper and lower class students is also expected to stay relevant to the narrative.
There are many exciting things like wild, aristocratic parties and a love triangle. It seems that Cayetana, Rebecca and Valerio will have more scenes and become more important than they were when they first appeared on the show. There is no appearance of Nano, Samuel’s brother, despite his regular appearance in the first two seasons.
The murder of Marina still leaves a mark on the lives of characters in the series, especially her brother Guzman and former boyfriend Samuel. This painful memory will likely impact many of the upcoming events in the series and cause characters to drift apart from one another.
The trailer ends with an unexpected scene and an answer to the investigations going on earlier: Polo dead, covered in blood.
