Kehlani releases new video for expected album

Kehlani brings back the assurance of self-love and pride with release of her new music video “CRZY.” The video is directed by Benny Boom and features a catchy beat and eye-popping visuals to match. Currently signed to Atlantic Records, Kehlani is working on her first studio album. Along with a previously released mixtape, “You Should Be Here,” the new single “CRZY” has started buzz over the Cali native and has made quite an impact in such a short time. As an R&B singer and songwriter, Kehlani writes and co-produces all her work and the lively spirit of her vision has been piercing from the studio.

“CRZY” features strong vocals and Oakland girls in ‘90s fashion. The video shows a birthday party that ends with splattered cake and a mash of energetic dance moves. The colorful video and good-vibe sound remind us of the impact of self-love. “CRZY” is Kehlani’s latest return to social media after her attempted suicide earlier this year. Through her uplifting and encouraging posts and outspoken appeal, Kehlani has been a voice for those struggling with depression and mental health, including herself.

With a team of visionary artists and a strong support system, the beginning of Kehlani takeover is coming and it looks like nothing is stopping her. Numerous artists and actors including Wiz Khalifa and Bryshere Y. Gray (also known for his role as Hakeem Lyon on FOX series “Empire”) have supported her new song with their own renditions of the catchy chorus, “I go, I go, I go, I go crazy, crazy.”

A vessel of change and a leading light, Kehlani is all gold. Her genuine heart is more of a kept secret throughout the video. With the strong presence of a dance radio hit, “CRZY” is Kehlani’s leading single from her yet-to-be titled album, and it’s a successful one.
