Shortly after 2 p.m., the Associated Press reported the U.S. Capitol building is no longer under lockdown.
The Capitol building was put on lockdown after shots fired outside the building were reported, according to the AP. One officer is injured.
Capitol Police say they will have more updates at 4:15 p.m eastern.
