A local network of entrepreneurs announced an event bringing young business owners from more than 20 Madison companies together on campus Tuesday to share their experiences and connect with students interested in an entrepreneurial future.
Leading resource for Madison start-up businesses, Capital Enterprise, and the student organization The Hub are co-hosting Madison’s first Start-Up fair that will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Wisconsin Institute for Research and Discovery’s town center, according to an announcement on Capital Enterprises’ website.
The fair will feature companies focused on technological innovation, most of which were started or are run by UW-Madison students and alumni, according to the announcement.
“Our 200-plus members are dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in Madison by bringing entrepreneurs together to create new connections and a community around the startups in Madison,” Capital Enterprises said on its website.
