The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Odyssey Project was featured Sunday on the Big Ten Network’s television show “Forward Motion,” which is produced by the university. The episode focused on the project’s impact on the participants involved in the program.
The Odyssey Project is an organization that helps adults who do not have the financial means to go to college gain college credit. The 30 students in the program take a humanities class at UW-Madison with the help of grants, private donations and the university.
There will be a viewing of the episode Thursday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. at Sundance Cinemas 608 in Hilldale Mall, 430 N. Midvale Blvd. The event is open to the public.
