The Open Pantry at 1401 Regent St. was robbed for the second time this month and the seventh time since 2005.
In the most recent robbery, the suspect entered the Open Pantry early Saturday morning, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, police said.
The convenience store clerk was not injured, according to the report.
The suspect then allegedly fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police attempted a K9 track, but the suspect was not found, police said.
The suspect is believed to be a black male around 25 years old, 5'6'' and heavy set, police said. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white graphics on the front at the time of the robbery.
