A 53-year-old Madison man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself to two 16-year-old girls near the Capitol Square Saturday afternoon.
According to a police report, Madison police responded to the 20 block of North Pinckney Street around 4 p.m. The two girls told police they were sitting on a bench waiting for a bus when the suspect approached. The girls said the man's genitals were exposed and he made sexually suggestive comments to them.
Before he left the scene, the suspect also allegedly stole one teenager's cell phone, which she had left sitting on the bus stop bench.
The victims described the suspect to police, and he was later located in Peace Park on State Street.
The suspect, Samuel Pullian, was arrested and tentatively charged with theft, menacing panhandling and two counts each of causing a child to view sexual activity and disorderly conduct.
