A 28-year-old woman was attacked Tuesday morning on the second floor of the Dayton Street Ramp, 309 E. Dayton St., around 10:30 a.m.
According to a police report, the victim was walking from her car to a stairwell on the Dayton Street side of the parking ramp when she became aware of two men in the area. The victim then heard footsteps and was pulled to the ground by one of the men. She kicked her attacker in the groin and was able to escape safely.
The victim reported only one of the two men approached her and neither of the men said anything to her. The victim was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a slender build and blond hair. He was wearing a dark-colored, baggy, zip-up sweatshirt and jeans. Anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious is urged to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
