Two women wanted in robbery and beating of Badger Cab driver

Madison Police are still looking for two female suspects who reportedly robbed a Badger Cab driver early Sunday morning.  

 

According to a police report, a female Badger Cab driver was dropping off the two passengers in the 2500 block of Perry Street around 4 a.m. When the driver asked the women for the cab fare, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The second suspect then began punching the cab driver in the head. The suspects fled the scene after stealing money from the driver, and they remain at large.  

 

One suspect was described as a black female, 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a black coat, dark pants and a red hat. The other suspect is described as a black female in her early 20s, wearing a dark coat, blue jeans and a white hat.  

 

The Badger Cab driver was taken to a local hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
