Now playing Madison

Your sound is described as Americana. What sets you guys apart from other country/rock bands?: It's my style of writing. I have had years of experience playing blues, playing rock and roll, playing any kind of music that goes up and down the Mississippi river and just bring my own style to it.

What's your favorite part of the live shows that you guys do?: It's just jamming out and getting the people involved and bring them in. Seeing people out there getting involved with the song and the story and being right there with us is a great feeling.

What's the most exciting holiday you've ever had?: I lived outside of Aspen ... And we played some nude Valentine's Day show for some rich people in Aspen. We were given silk hearts to place wherever we wanted. Something quite amusing, quite exciting and quite decadent. Something I'll never forget.

If you would like to see the Rowdy Prairie Dogs (fully-clothed) this weekend, check them out at 9 p.m. Friday at The Brink Lounge.
