UW student victim of late-night Breese Terrace beating

Police are looking for two men responsible for beating two victims, including a UW-Madison student, on Breese Terrace early Sunday. 

 

Around 12:30 a.m., a caller to the Madison Police Department reported overhearing a man state he severely injured someone on the 100 block of North Breese Terrace, according to a police report. At 1:30 a.m., two males arrived at a local hospital and told police they had been walking on Breese Terrace when they encountered another group of men on the sidewalk.  

 

One of the victims, an 18-year-old UW-Madison student, told police the other victim, a 20-year-old from Green Bay, might have accidentally bumped into one of the men, prompting the men to attack them. The 20-year-old victim suffered a broken nose and concussion, and the 18-year-old victim suffered a bump to his head. 

 

Police describe the first perpetrator as a 6', 190-pound white male wearing a basketball jersey with the word Antigo"" on the front. The second perpetrator is described as a 5'11"", 240-pound white male with short black hair, wearing a gray T-shirt.
