2008 ASM Spring Elections results

The Iraqi Student Project referendum passed to increase tuition for Iraqi students to attend UW-Madison, according to preliminary results announced Friday.* 

 

ISP representatives Jenny Wustmann and Meaghan Dolan said the next steps are to gain the teachers' union support and to talk to the UW System Board of Regents before the end of the semester to try to implement the project by Fall 2009. The Regents must approve any tuition increases before the project begins.
