Spring semester exams and term papers may still fill students' planners, but the prospect of a clean slate is in clear view with fall semester enrollment starting today for undergraduates.
The daunting task of arranging a full course load online may be eased with a set of new features to ?the My UW Student Center.
A Real Time Class Search option provides a ""search for classes"" block that allows students to search for courses prior to officially registering. It gives updates every 15 minutes, opposed to older versions that needed to be refreshed manually.
Also available is Enrollment Packaging, which groups lectures, discussions and labs together so they can be ?selected as a whole when enrolling.
Students can also use the shopping cart feature, which allows class shoppers to track and save their interests and then either continue to check out or use the trash can icon.
