Two men get robbed, one is pistol-whipped

Madison police are searching for four suspects who battered and ""pistol-whipped"" a 21-year-old Madison man in an apartment on Madison's north side Sunday evening.

Police said the victim and his friend were playing video games in their apartment on the 500 block of Northport Drive when a Hispanic female, an acquaintance of the two, entered. The report said once the female suspect was inside, three black males followed her in and started beating one of the men playing video games.

According to police, the victim, who at one point during the confrontation was threatened with a broken liquor bottle, was ""pistol-whipped"" in the head. Police said the man sustained minor injuries from the attack.

The suspects of the strong-armed robbery are all in their early twenties. One suspect was wearing a black skullcap, black jeans and a black jacket at the time of the attack. The other two suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Police did not say if money was taken in the robbery, but noted the victim called them as soon as the suspects fled the building.
