Police suspect recent child enticement cases to be linked

Madison police suspect two child enticement cases in the last two days are linked to one perpetrator.

A Hispanic male, in his mid-30s, is a suspect in the attempted kidnapping of a child near the Beltline on Monday, according to police. The 13-year-old girl in that case was able to escape unharmed and contacted the authorities shortly after the incident.

Police are also investigating another enticement that happened Tuesday near Aldo Leopold Park in Madison. A 12-year-old girl was the victim in that case, and according to WISC-TV 3, the police have noted similarities in each case.

Still, police noted the suspect was driving a green SUV in the enticement on Monday. As for the case on Tuesday, according to WISC-TV 3, the suspect was driving a gray Toyota model.
