Destination police station after teen girls fail to pay fare

Madison Police charged two female juveniles last Thursday with failure to pay cab fare and obstructing police.

The cab driver, according to police, picked up the two girls in Oregon, Wis. and took them to Moorland Road, where the girls said a relative would pay the fare. However, no one was found to pay the fare and one girl fled, while the other stayed.

Police said the juvenile who fled got on a nearby bus. The cab driver followed the bus and informed the bus driver of the situation. The bus driver kicked the girl off the bus and the girls were once again in the hands of the driver, who applied the child safety locks and took them to the police station.

Once they arrived at the station, police said the two girls tried to flee from the situation, but were unable to open the doors. According to the police, the girls have since been charged and released.
