Sticking out like a sore thumb in a sea of red, UW-Madison junior Mark Harris sported his favorite Brett Favre jersey in the student section during Saturday's 69-52 win over Northwestern.
Harris was one of a handful of fans in attendance who felt the need to show their support for Favre's decision to come back for another season.
""Oh, you got to know Brett Favre's coming back. I got to support my boy,"" Harris said.
The junior also has great seats for every UW men's basketball game after waiting outside for two days to grab seats in section 114, row EE. Those seats put him a mere 10 yards or so away from the baseline.
""The atmosphere is just great down here. You just feel so much a part of the game,"" Harris said.
He is also optimistic about the Badgers season and had no ill feelings toward the team's loss at Indiana last week.
""It was a learning experience,"" Harris said. ""[Indiana] is a tough place to play. You aren't going to go undefeated in the Big Ten. You are going to have a game like that.""
The Poynette, Wis. native has been a Wisconsin fan his whole life and is taking advantage of his opportunity to be one of the lucky students who gets to witness UW's 22-2 season from inside the Kohl Center.
""It looks like they are back on track, so they will be all right,"" Harris said.
