Police are investigating the link between an incident where gunshots were heard and a Madison resident was discovered injured early Monday morning, according to a police report.
At approximately 3:45 a.m., Madison police responded to a call that shots were fired on Sunfish Court, near the intersection of the Beltline and Fish Hatchery Road. On the scene, police said they found bullet shell casings and an injured man.
The male, 32, was taken to an area hospital with what the report said were ""non life-threatening injuries.""
The police report said the investigation still remains open and persons with further information can call Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
